NEXT WCNFC&A COOP ASSOC. Meeting is at 11:00 the morning of March 08, 2008. To be held in the Cafeteria Building of the Western Cherokee Nation's Capitol Complex. Lunch follows meeting, covered dish. Primary Agenda items are Board of Directors Elections and UCR Pow Wow.

2008 Upper Current River Pow Wow. Memorial Day Weekend (May 23, 24 & 25, 2008) at Salem, Missouri
Several non-food vendor spaces still available. 24 hour Security provided. Some on-site vendor RV & Camping on a space available basis. Motels and off-site RV & Camping areas nearby.

To the official web site of the Western Cherokee Nation Farmers, Craftsmen & Artisans Cooperative Association! The primary goals of the Western Cherokee Nation Farmers, Craftsmen & Artisans Cooperative Association are:

To provide a cooperative marketing environment for the membership.
To promote the culture of the Cherokee Nation through the membership body's demonstrated talents and abilities in their chosen vocation(s) and/or hobby or hobbies.

To provide a socio-economic environment both receptive to and conducive to individual members finding self-sufficiency in themselves, for themselves and for their families.
To strengthen the Western Cherokee Nation as a whole through a continuing and sustained effort to build self-sufficiency into the culture while simultaneously reducing the numbers of Citizens of the Nation that are dependent upon government social support programs and aids.
To facilitate the handing down of cultural knowledge and skills to future generations, thus preventing said cultural knowledge and skills being lost for all time.

The Western Cherokee Nation Farmers, Craftsmen & Artisans Cooperative Association is sanctioned by the Western Cherokee Nation government but receives no direct funding from the Western Cherokee Nation. We do hope that you can take a few moments to navigate this web site to familiarize your self with our cooperative association. Whether you are a vendor, a manufacturer, an event organizer or simply a person in the market for quality products; our membership can most likely meet your needs.
